Haircut prices = DUMB!

I started shopping around when the salon I used doubled the price for cuts.

Now, I have a fantastic stylist at a very reasonable price and best of all, she comes to the house!

If I received a man's hair cut it would piss me off to pay more than a man does.

I, however, go to a stylist and they do way more stuff to my hair than just a cut, so I am fine with paying more. I am also fine with paying more to have my hair done in a professional calm peaceful; setting where they stylists are not on the phone, fist fighting, pulling each other's hair, nor have their kids running around screaming.

If it's long, male or female, then I can understand charging more - but not because of mere gender.

When I lived in New York (not the city, but in Westchester) my hair dresser BARELY trimmed my bangs (only because she didn't do it right the first time). She tried to charge me $35.

Have been going to a stylist for over 3 years, the price has steadily increased.
Found new barber now pay $10 flat fee.
