This might be slightly off-topic, but i am wondering how people get their outdoor holiday lights so straight and evenly spaced?

I've heard they cook a great dinner and invite a butch over and have them do the hanging--! Probably not what ya wanted to hear. Honestly, I've never hung outdoor christmas lights.
