A few weeks ago I read about a local company that makes a special kind of cheese. Today, on the way out of town, my sister and I stopped and got this cheese for our SIL.
When we got to her place we had a nice catch-up chat. Then I prepared the cheese. It is soooooo good.

Also - my sister played hookey today - we went for a nice drive and did some shopping. I got a few Christmas presents for other people and a jacket for myself.

If I calculated correctly, Thanksgiving is two weeks from today. I am already hungry for turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberries!!! And pumpkin pie. Oh and family too.

This year will be somewhat different as diabetesII came to visit. So I will have to eat this huge meal in several small ones, all the carbs will be made of whole wheat and then sugar substitutes. BUT I am still excited!
