We live in times more sensitive than ever to hatred based violence. Over the last decade, more than one person per month has died due to transgender-based hate or prejudice, regardless of any other factors in their lives. This trend shows no sign of abating. Many of these crimes remain unreported and unsolved.

With this in mind we invite you to please stand with us in solidarity Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 6:30 pm on the steps of City Hall.

I'll be going....if you wanna ride with me, meet me here at Chez Diva at 5:45 and we can take the Soccer Van.....

I'm not going to be able to make this event.....started feeling oogly yesterday and all stopped up. This morning, I have a heinous cold (I blame Billy for texting it to me!) and feeling pretty cruddy! Found some DayQuil and it's barely putting a dent in the stopped up part of it (though did help the scratchy throat!).....

If anyone goes....carry my spirit up there, too and light a candle for me....I'll be lighting them here at the house.

Ya know....I took breathing for granted. I admit it! And sleep.

I've emptied out my Kleenex boxes and have moved on to Cottonelle TP with Aloe & Vitamin E.

I'm so sorry I'm gonna miss TEA! You KNOW it can't be good when I miss TEA @ Zhi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa. I just spent the entire day off doing condo stuff. I kidnapped Gemme at 10 am and didn't return her until 2:30.

We didn't do Zhi but we did do Best Buy, Sherwin Willams, Lacks, Savers and then lunch at Souper Salad.

Then I dropped her off, came home, walked the dogs and headed out to Home Depot to get some more information on appliances and counter tops.

I got Popeye's on the way home. I've walked the dogs twice since then. I'm wiped out. Still have stuff to do. Laundry can wait until tomorrow...or Wednesday. I think I can make it work until then. No really.

We don't want anyone driving home if they've had more than a couple drinks, or if they're afraid of all the drunks on the road that night. Hey, we even have extra toothbrushes. You can be pretty sure they haven't been used for some heinous cleaning task.
