Even though I would never wish the flu on anyone, I was extremely happy the prof for my tues/thurs class came down with it and had to cancel two classes.

I am shocked that InfiniteFemme ate McDonald's. What is the world coming to?
It might be true that I enjoy bringing order out of chaos
I am thankful to be alive
I am thankful for this planet, even for those who insist that marshmallows and various items belong on candied yams and for those who put oysters in their dressing. I so don't get such things.

**I enjoy sharing my pie (wait that's just sounds wrong somehow).
**That it honestly gives me a sense of relief to hear that Gentle Tiger makes order out of chaos (talk about job security ).
** That I wish Infinite Femme would have shared some of those french fries
** That I eat fries with Ranch dressing.
**That I have been known to go to Round Robins specifically for the bottomless hand cut fries.
** That is is a pleasure to have Ms Sunshine n the boards, I enjoy her sweet energy.

This is the first time in quite some time that I didn't experience turkey coma
I thoroughly enjoyed the desserts
Even though starting the day was a little difficult it ended up being one of the easiest and more pleasant Thanksgiving holidays I have had in a long time.
Healing takes time. It comes at a cost. And it takes hard work. But in stages and over time it comes.

I confess, Thanksgiving felt like a Golden Girls episode. I was the youngest one there. It was fun. I sat on a high backed stool drinking champagne and listening to my roommate's 94 year old grandmother tell the tale of her aunt coming to Oregon from Pennsylvania in a horse and buggy. They lost the horse and buggy in the Platte River and had to make it the rest of the way with oxen. After dinner when I was washing dishes her daughter, the 65 year old aunt, told me after mother has passed I'm outta here. I'm going to Italy and get me some men.

Dinner was awesome. Everything. I do confess, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and pecan pie are some of my most favorite foods in the world. My roomies basted the turkey every hour- on the outside plus they injected it was this long needle on the inside. I think it was the moistest turkey I have ever had.
