That sweet girl from down the street just rang my door bell, she wanted to let me know that she does more than just rake leaves. And if I need a babysitter, or someone to walk my dog , or someone to clean , she does all of that, if I'm interested. I could totally use someone to clean, but I'd have to be home for that. I asked her if she wanted to rake the leaves in the back there is a bunch. She agreed to do it Thursday, because her birthday is Friday. !!!! I knew I liked that kid!!! Her birthday is one day after mine.

I am smiling today because my pipes did not freeze last night!!! The temp has not been above freezing since Sunday morning! This is the Sunny South; we aren't built to handle temps like this for very long. So I smile again because of all the things I did to prevent it worked. I hope I am still smiling tomorrow and the day after.....

my neighbor saw me sweeping off my front porch and walkway so he came over and started shoveling my drive! I helped a little but truthfully I havent enough lung power to do it. He did most of it. I love my neighbors!
