Good evening all

Chickens are almost done roasting and smell really good....have water on to cook the corn on the cob...and no idea if there will be anything else....might just be chicken, corn on the cob and bread & butter. My grandmother's idea of the perfect supper.

The call in nurse of my health insurance guided me to a diabetic-safe mucinex product....which is helping...but is also making me feel about half drunk (as she warned me might happen). I can see why she said "DON'T DRIVE"

Never fear....I think I can roast chickens in this state...and that's as dangerous as it gets around here tonight.

Zimmy, glad to hear you managed some soup....that's the best choice when you're feeling bad....warm, liquid...and hey, it's chicken soup! My inner Jewish grandma approves!

Morningstar...thank you for the cookies....we may be making some around here tomorrow (if I have my way). I just have to get the food dye for the icing...forgot I didn't have mine anymore (not the kind of thing you pay the movers to take 1300 miles).

I didn't know that mucinex has any kind of sugar in it glad you got something for your cold Jo feel better soon. Yes cooking making is on my list too ...Greek cookies to be made for the holidays although I don't celebrate anymore being a Jewish woman I still like the cookies..glad people are on mend tonight have a good one everyone..going to watch tv and take it down for the night..6:30 comes fast when you are sleeping..

You can't keep anything down yet oh wow that is too bad, and it must be a bad stomach flu for that to happen hope you are feeling better soon. WEll its night time already the day goes by so fast in winter yuck an its cold too very cold out there and I need notions for my sewing so it will have to be tomorrow and salad too for tonights dinner, dogs ate so that is good, will snuggle in bed tonight for a long winter's nap, I just hibernate until springtime which I hope gets here soon...

I ate lunch earlier and as soon as I was done, it felt like someone punched me in the stomach, blah.

I'm going to try and eat dinner.

Salads are always good for lunch or dinner. I love organic vinaigrette dressings made with olive oil.
