First of all I want to wish you all very cherrished Holidays this year!
May there be many merrories created to cherrish! I light a candle now for all here on the planet that they will be guided, blessed and directed in the matters at hand. And feel the resolve of each situation with strength and courage. Also that all the medical field associated with them will be guided at this time. Also to say sorry for my absentce but I have been in and out of the hospital with my grandaughter. Special request for her today and an update from last post on her: If you all remember she was raped awhile back. She is 15. She has been in and out of the hospital all week and her right kidney isnt draining so this week we find out what they will do about that. Also they are testing because they think she has a tubal pragnacy possible from her rape. Please keep her in your thoughts and thank you for all those who have already!

Love n Koolaid to Everyone who has been lighting Candles for mah Niece.  Yesterday I got to talk to her for a brief moment, convinced it would be the last time we spoke.  The Candles kept her going another night. Perhaps the most important night of all. They placed her into a Life Support Coma. As of this morning, she has improved enough to gain High Priority on the Transplant list!  This will hopefully be her 3rd Heart Transplant.  One of the tough factors of this...is knowing someone must pass on in order to keep her here with us. .gif "Say What?") Keep her here with us please. It's truly all I want for Christmas.

Lights a candle for my Aunt Judy who passed away last night. She fought a hard courageous battle against bone cancer for some time now. I know she's chatting it up with her passed relatives and my dearly departed now no longer in pain and able to see now as her vision was robbed in the hospital a year ago by MRSA she caught there. Rest in peace Aunt Judy, I love you.
May this candle bring some sort of peace to my Uncle Eddie who was an extraordinary man in supporting her and taking care of her during this time.

I took Ivan to another vet yesterday. His usual vet was out of town until today. Ivan has gone from .51g when he first visited his doctor 3 weeks ago, to .48g yesterday. Unfortunately, the doctor who saw him yesterday is not an expert in reptiles/amphibians, so she didn't really know how to help him. She did give him an antibiotic for possible pneumonia/infection and it's strawberry flavored!!
Ivan took another dose of worm medicine last night, along with a tiny drop of the new antibiotic. This morning, however, he would have none of the strawberry antibiotic. He does look a little better today, but he's still doing that open mouthed breathing thing, which is not good. He just *hates* opening his mouth for medicine and was adamant about not taking any more of it. He even wee'd on me to try to get away. I just couldn't bring myself to insist any further, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he gets better. He's back up on the big ledge this morning, and I think he's ready to find his sleeping spot and settle in now. I'm just going to leave him alone and let him sleep. The vet suggested that I set the little frog house up for him as a hospital house. I may do that, but I keep thinking how attached he is to Myra. I'd hate to take him from her, especially since she appears to be completely okay, and I think she'd miss and grieve for him, too. Maybe I'd better just leave well enough alone and let him rest. Hard to know what to do.......  Thank you's to everyone here who has been reaching out, saying prayers and sending Ivan the healing light. I do think it is making a difference and I certainly appreciate the support!!! ~Theo~
