I confess...
~ I am thoroughly disappointed that my family pulled a bait-and-switch on Christmas Eve dinner. Instead of the yummy turkey and stuff that I was expecting, they decided to do a "snack setting" with just finger foods and appetizers...   Looks like the only way I will get the yummy turkey I am craving is if I go to my maternal grandmother's house for lunch today. I tend to avoid them like the plague because they are they gun toting, hellfire-and-brimstone, Ruby Ridge-ish kind of folks who sit on their mountaintop, do the scary Jesus homeschooling while hording guns and not paying their taxes.  Guess there's no turkey for me this Christmas...  ~ Eventhough disappointed with the food options, I am super happy with my gifts from the family. I had already gotten a DroidX as an early present so I wasn't really expecting anything more. Ended up with awesome fuzzy pjs (w/matching fuzzy socks!), a camo makeup bag, $$$, and a cute new little camcorder. Can't wait to see what's in my stocking in a few hours...  |

I Confess to-
~Having a wonderful night with my family ~Smiling at sweet words from a friend ~Loving all of my presents so far, especially the homemade one from my little sister  ~ Being content with all that I have and all that I am blessed with ~Laughin so hard I cried ~Playin with my nephews new drum set more than he did! LOL You dont't want to know...But I will say Fleetwood Mac songs were involved... ~Rambling....But I am actively working on that lol |

I confess I have had some angels here on BFP who have made sure I had a wonderful Christmas. I am so honored to be considered their friend and touched that they realized what each gift really would mean to me. Thank you ...
I confess that I made love jars for my family members, filling them with little letters, quotes, and old photo or two, remnants of our connection and then I hand painted each jar. Gemme is who inspired me to do so... I confess that I am in awe of my humble home, in its relic-ness nature, its worn and faded cosmetics, that tell the tale of having had many decades of holidays celebrated here. This is my first and I can feel them all...there is a magic in a home that has raised children... I confess that this place, BFP, has become my cyber home and I feel part of and valued here. And Safe. The Admins and Mods all work together, along with all of us, to create a place where we all can come and celebrate together...to them I say thank you and hope they all have a wonderful holiday. I confess that the best way to make sure they do, is for me (and others) to behave here! LOL. Good nite everyone...blessings to all....
