I will notice beauty today. I will notice kindness. I will notice moments of happiness and I will tuck those away in my mind and my heart to pull out and embrace whenever I stumble or falter in my belief that I am worthy of my own admiration.

I will embrace a new way of looking at something today. If something annoys me, confounds me or frightens me, I'll step back, reflect and try to see it (or them) in a new light. I will embrace the idea that maybe, just maybe, there is another layer, another viewpoint, something else worth seeing.

Today I will give myself one new thing I need to create a positive new year. Whether it's the gift of time to dream or a good calendar to keep me on track, I'll tune my mental tools and my physical tools to the "Yes I can" mode, because this is my year.
