i believe..
that my bestie is about to lose her marbles and theres nothing i can do until she says "come rescue" me and although im just up the road, i would drop everything and run. believing in true friendship is the only way i play these days i believe in picking myself up for the good that life has to offer. |

i believe.. - that we gain strength from our hardships.. - that we learn from our mistakes.. - that we need to step outside the box, and look inside.. - that forgiveness isn't always possible and certainly not always deserved.. - that love for one self is necessary to really love & appreciate all that surrounds you.. - that when things are really meant to be, they will surely be.. and mostly...i believe that as the days go on, and i walk this journey - i feel my worth more everyday & feel love for the genuine honest and beautiful being i know i am.. and also believe, that the girl looking back at me in the mirror, is someone i see beauty in for many reasons... and although i don't feel i am beautiful - the very fact i can even LOOK at myself, truly look at myself, in the mirror and think what i do, could quite possibly be my greatest achievement thus far..

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I believe I will be able to visit her place of rest. I believe I fucked up along the way, but ....I did OK. I believe Mother's deserve Medals. I know mine sure did.
I believe my daughter's Mama is doing okay too. After being separated for many years she is sending me pictures of the 3 of us. I believe my Kiddo is doing okay too. Wearing her big girl smile and staying at a job she doesn't like , so her kids can have a good summer with her. I believe I really have tried to live by the Golden Rule. I believe the big things in life are about knowing those you have loved with all your heart are okay. RIP Big Butch

I use to believe
Out of all the make-believe characters from childhood, the Easter Bunny was the one I maintained belief in longest. For some reason, a fat man with presents or a fairy that took my teeth seems silly, but an anthropomorphic rabbit that brought colored eggs and chocolate made total sense to me.
