What's Happening in Austin

For SOME reason, I lucked out, and my children didn't wake me until *I* woke up....and I won't discuss WHAT time that was.....suffice it to say, I didn't say "Good morning" to anyone on FB! lol

Point A. Gila Monsters are not chewy.

Point B. Diva likes Cabs now.

Point C. It was fun to see TxB & Barry get into it.

Point D. Arwen and Diva enjoyed their schnapps in sippy cups.

Point E. Ebon had his vodka and pepsi up to the bunny ears.

Point F. Will made 3-minute pie. (Called such because it was so damn good, my particular piece only lasted 3 minutes.)

Point G. Everyone enjoyed Glynn's balls and weinies.

It was a delightful party and so lovely to see BK and to meet durrrrrr....
I just heard from The Pup that most of them were up until 5:30!!!! (That would be in Your A.M.!) That's hilarious! LOVE it!

I got up, due to the cat, at 6:30, yep, that IS AM. I, cleverly, went back to bed till 10am...much better. Great time, y'all!

I only made it until 2:30 or so,,but the party did go on to the wee hours! It was indeed great to meet Durrrrrrrrr and great to see BK again! They both got on the road within the past hour. We HAD to watch football doncha know!

Then I shoved them back and forth to soak up more moisture.

My condo flooded not once, not twice but three times.

Seems a sewer main doesn't want to play nicely.

However, I did get to play nicely tonight. Skype is a wonderful invention.

oiler....would you let pup know that when she goes to count the silverware, she'll be short one knife and one pie server? they did a stowaway act in the pie carrier. when i return them, they will be clean.

gemme....pup and i had a "discussion" about the duct tape for the go-box for your pie. she was all for sending along tupperware and i was determined to make you a really fancy pie box. yes, i was insistent and she gave me my way. impressive, wasn't it?

it was great to meet you as well Arwen. I would love to live in Austin, but for what I do for a living, there wasn't anything around. I feel lucky to be this close to Austin vs what I use to be..which was 18 hrs.
