The phone call to my apartment complex office asking them to clear the ice from the stairs by my apartment resulted in the clearing of not only the stairs, but the sidewalk too and ice melt being put down.

Next week I am going to show my appreciation by having a pizza lunch delivered to the maintenance crew and office staff.

Last night I sent out some "feeler" emails to some agencies listed on the National Health Service Corps website to see what kind of response I would get and if they still had openings. Brief letter stating intent and that I am not looking to relocate until the summer and attached my resume. First thing this morning I had responses from all of them wanting to do interviews. I replied to all the emails with times I am available next week for a phone interview (since the weather isn't conducive to driving in the Appalachians)and also restated that I am not looking to relocate until the summer in case I didn't make it clear because I don't want to mislead them that I am available right now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are still interested. I'm all about planning and it would be nice to know things sooner rather than later.

An email from someone here on BFP on my personal email asking me if I was going to the reunion... And no.. Im not... But it was nice to know someone wanted to meet me...

My day off.. Of doing absolutely nothing... But I felt like I was supposed to be working LOl crazy huh?

- recognizing some of my own achievements i've made just this passed week..

as each day goes on, i find i'm more and more ready to take this journey on...the changes i see & feel already, are so small but so significant..and so very encouraging to keep moving along this path i'm on..

it's the most rewarding experience - to make positive changes for one self, and know that i am responsible for doing so..that i care about myself enough, after all.
