What's Happening in Austin

Well....with all due respect, sushi at a Chinese buffet is not very fresh.

May I suggest ~ also in S. Austin ~ a wonderful sushi bar called Haiku. It's in the big shopping complex at I~35 & Slaughter Lane (there's a Target/Barnes & Noble/JCPenney/Hobby Lobby there).......

Speaking for myself, I love a Chinese buffet, but if I go to the Chinese buffet, I won't be eating sushi.

Linus....I'm glad You had an Austin Experience!! Nothin' like it!

Pomegranate sake
Peeking through edamame
Windows reveal friends

Whew! What a great day. I got to see Ebon and Ash and Conner. My big bed is gone. I'm now sleeping in Conner's bed. My tv has a stand. I got to laugh and eat my weight in sushi. I learned the heaven that is pomegranate sake. I had Mexican vanilla ice cream. I got to play with Tarot cards. My dogs got to meet and greet their Uncle Linus.

Yes, it's been a day to put down in the memory book as a keeper.

Great to see Austin peeps out for dinner. Janey, my only regret is that the waiter didn't go for Kat's Sake Soup Smuggling. I think she was on to something.

Btw? There's ice in that hole.
