Philosophy on Bug- and/or Spider-Killing

This is a confessional thread ...
I am deathly afraid of spiders. Even tiny ones. If they are outside, I give them wide berth, but do not kill them. I cannot, and I'vd tried, get newspaper and scoop them up and take them outside. I have an anxiety attack worrying that they will ... and they have ... get to my hand that is holding the paper before I get them outdoors. So, I have a designated boot

It shames me, but that's the truth.

On the other hand, I'll pick up snakes, lizards, etc. without a second thought. Freud would've had a grand time with me
