I would use fancier products if I wasn't afraid that I would waste money on the wrong product.

But I have fair sensitive dry skin, so I've been using

I have very sensitive skin so I use Clinique skin care products - they don't seem to bother me like other brands do:

*take the day off, makeup remover
*all about eyes
*clarifying lotion
*dramatically different moisturizer for my skin type
*moisture surge for my skin type (in the winter)
*clinique sun SPF50 (in the summer)

Otherwise my staple makeup products:

YSL Touche Eclat - highlighter (for under the eyes),
truly a luxury product. tip: its about $10 cheaper through duty free, grab it (or have someone grab it for you) when flying internationally or crossing the border.

Benefit - creaseless cream eye shadow/liners:
I wear 'birthday suit' for casual daytime wear, 'busy signal', 'get figgy' or 'strut' or a combination for evening.

Benefit - sugarbomb face powder (for cheeks)

Benefit - bad girl lash in plum (great for brown eyes)

Benefit - silky finish lipstick in: 'good to go-go' or 'rocket pop' they're sheer and soft and easy to apply on the go.

Shiseido - lipstick for nighttime - P7 Red Luxe, Rouge Faste

Default Lavender Sugar Scrub

I like to use lavender, a lot, for candles and I even make a specialty bread with dried lavender.
I even use lavender to make my own sugar scrub. The recipe is simple (the measurement is by ratio):

2 parts organic crystalline sugar
1 part coconut oil
1/2 cup of epsom salt
1 cup of dried lavender
several drops of organic lavender oil

Directions: If the coconut oil is in a solid state, warm the coconut oil to the extent that it is in liquid state. Take the liquid coconut oil and combine it with the crystalline sugar, epsom salts, dried lavender and lavender oil. Mix well. The final appearance of your sugar scrub product should be a grainy texture that you can store in a glass or ceramic jar. Store in a cool place so that the coconut oil can return to its solid state.

I love to use a sugar scrub on my face, feet, arms, hands and legs
because it leaves my skin feeling and looking very soft and pretty.

I have never tried biore, do these things really work?

I have sensitive/allergy-prone skin and continuously look for new products that my skin will tolerate. I get red/irritated/angry skin easily, so I it becomes damage control after a while trying to treat the acne breakouts with effective products that inevitably cause inflammation. I have been to I don't know how many derms and taken oodles of courses of amoxi and currently have a prescription cleanser called Prascion that is helping with the breakouts.

I wonder if the fancier products are all hype also. I have tried some that seemed to deliver what they promised, like Perricone products, but it gets expensive over time to keep that regimen, so I usually revert back to less expensive alternatives.

Has anyone used/or are currently using one of the face scrubber thingies like this?
