Then Rachel looks over, sees the pictures and asks in a very disbelieving tone

"Is that a thread about shoes? I can't believe there is a thread about shoes!"

We both bust up laughing, but I have to say I am drooling over the shoes in this thread!! Thanks for making my day!

GULP! Thems some 'spensive shoes

One more question, I really like these and I love that they come in this light pink color...with strappy sandals I have to be careful that the ankle strap doesn't rub the back of my foot the wrong way. I have the most crazy sensitive feet...and if I'm going to spend that much I want to be able to wear them to work, too.

Yes they are 'spensive. i like a sandal with nothing between the toes to rub. These look nice.

I totally understand! I'm rather sensitive in the heel area (and top o'foot). The leather they use is so super soft and luxe. I never got a blister or anything when first wearing them (or there after). The back of my heel is "narrowish" so most shoes (other than these) rub and cause me discomfort until they break in.

I understand the price point is up there, but the first time I tried a pair on, it felt like I was wearing slippers. Needless to say, I was/ am hooked.

OK. I went to Zappos and got the Gentle Souls and a pair of Camper sandals (love that brand)...that way I can try them out and send back the pair I don't want...for free!
