I LOVE 'Orquestra Wives'. TCM shows it every now and then, and I always try to catch it when it's on. Did you get a gander at Jackie Gleason (of 'The Honeymooners' fame) playing the bass fiddle? I love this tune too! Thanks for posting it, Madi. Looking forward to more!

One of the BB sounds, the "Latin" music of the 40s, was called Cubop - a fusion of Latin American and African music ... but I can't find any originals on YouTube. Anyone have posts for this?
