My sister had this as her wedding song, back in 1977, when she married her high school sweetheart, Andy. And yes, she had it as recorded by the great Barbra Streisand. I still think it is the best wedding song, ever.

So this, in honor of my big sister, my best ally and my best friend.

And our first dance song (We had a live band, and they did a great job with this one):

We had a wedding music mix, a cocktail hour mix, a dinner mix and then the live band after dinner. It was a magical afternoon/evening and I wouldn't change a thing,,other than maybe going back and doing it again!!!

I think if I am ever fortunate to experience a wedding (marriage) again, I would like it very much if most of the music came from a classical genre:

Bach (Air on the G String), Mozart (Lacrimosa), and several others by Rachmaninov, Grieg, and Beethoven.

Of course it goes without saying that if that special someone I enter into marriage with wishes to have other types of music played, I am sure we would come up with a beautiful playlist of music we both would enjoy hearing. Like, our song... and other songs we like, things of that nature.
