My sister wanted a simple service and asked for one song to be played. And, during the slides presented, it was played. A haunting melody. She was not a religious person, but clearly found solace and hope in the harp, the voices, the words. And, I think she found hope, too.
For her, and for anyone who has lost someone: As for me, the grieving comes in spurts now. Thank you all for your kind remembrances. And I thank R and ravfem and Jesse for letting me be a nutter last week as the time neared for the memorial. Blessings to you all. |
