What did you accomplish today?

Managed to haul my ass out of bed after only 4 hours of sleep
Fed watered and attended to the beasties
made biscuits and breakfast
showered and got dressed
and now I am headed out the door
(oh sleep where art thou)

...Got up, showered and dressed at what my Pops would call a 'reasonable hour'
...Picked up parcel post at the sorting office.
...Got to the cleaning job I do once a fortnight several hours before I usually do.
...Done the essential grocery shopping I had to do having been away for a few days.
...Emailed the relevant tutors asking the questions I need answering.

Yesterday was busy...

Rooster up, fed and to school
took Scoote's phone to her at work
bank, made deposit
picked up prescription at pharmacy
car wash...desperately needed...and the guy even managed to scrape the annoying gunky remnants of NY registration stickers off my window...sweet!
beef roast in to slow cook
put away stuff left outside from the weekend fencing project
cover to outdoor light washed and re-installed
critters fed, watered...and litter box cleaned
watered outdoor plants in the backyard
lots of work for the job...conference calls, reports, spreadsheet crunching

So far today it's...getting the kiddo fed, lunch packed and off to school and lots of miscellaneous for work. Today's one of my "cauliflower ear" conference call days...

I am usually a machine in the mornings, but this sinus infection is srsly kicking my ass, so all I've accomplished today is:

Picked up pop cans and put them in the recycling bin
Picked the living room up a bit
Got dishes in hot soapy water to wash
Had some Ibuprofen and Afrin with a coffee chaser
Trimmed my beard, lol - random

Went to the bank and took care of some business I had there. Got my new pic taken for my visa because my other one was ten years old and for some unknown reason I looked like one of the characters from Planet of the Apes back then.

Went to the Library and got my card...yay! Checked out 2 DVDs. I love old westerns and they had a slew of them there.

Came home, let the boy out then headed back out to do two estimates.

Measured my garage for a garage door screen.

Adjusted the motion detector on the front of the house.

Cleaned and treated some screens and put them back up.

Took a rib-eye out of the freezer for mah dinner and waiting patiently for it to thaw.

Drove down to Ormond beach with both my floor machines to get them fixed...we only came home with one, but I will never have to fix it again because the guy put this awesome lever on it that is the bomb diggity.
I made a bunch of call backs and booked a couple of clients for next month. Yayyyyyyyy!!!
My list seems so short yet these two things took up my entire day!!!

Managed to work almost 2 hours...was actually 2 hours 13 minutes...Got stuck on the phone with a client.

Shook loose a past due payment to my boss from a former client. They chose the wrong girl and the wrong day to give me their standard song and dance. I was seriously po'd and arranged a little meeting with the agency director, my attorney, me and the county manager's office. Then I called my contacts in the 2 departments that had been so uncooperative and invited them to my little party. About 30 minutes later I had email confirmation of the pending transfer of our payment...Dang that was way too much fun!

Celebrated with a nap when I got home...
