I am enjoying being put thru grueling physical workouts. In the past I would curse the trainer but now...I am so happy to be able to make my body work hard. There was a time when I would detest sweating...now I WANT to sweat, it means I am pushing this previously sedentary body to a new level. When the sweat starts running down my face and into my eyes...I have to admit I enjoy it ~ it means I have taken control of how I treat this one body I have been given and it feels damn good.

I enjoy days like today when the climate has warmed up enough to make a significant difference in my mobility, pain level, joint stiffness and fatigue!!!

Just less dampness and humidity can make all the difference along with a bit of sun (hit the mid-60's today). I began "enjoying" some of this freedom yesterday- but today my energy level rose right up! I was a busy bee with some chores, took a long walk with my pooch and didn't need pain medication!!! This is how retirement should feel!!

Yeah- this Monkey Puppy has to face the fact that she needs to re-locate to a dryer and warmer region throughout more months of the year. Southwest probably (but NOT AZ), but I keep hearing parts of Texas might work for me. I liked Atlanta when I visited a few years ago- but it can be pretty humid. Have to do some exploring and just figure it out.
