lighting my incense...
i burn incense for all those affected by the tsunami in Japan and now by the new conditions caused by nuclear complications. i light incense for all those affected by the fires in OK and those affected by tornadoes.
i burn incense for all who need comfort, compassion, healing, even the basic necessities. we who are so lucky to have all we do. anything we can do to help-prayers, candles, incense, donations-we should do. those affected could be our mothers, fathers, family in a past life.... namaste to all.

on a more personal level...
i burn incense for my Elder's brother who just had a hip replacement.
i burn incense for his brother-in-law who is awaiting surgery. i burn incense for him that he might find comfort and light, that his dr.s might improve his vision. i burn incense that he, like many of us here, find peace and healing as he contemplates his own mortality. namaste.

My devotional candles and nag champa incense are burning. My thoughts, prayers, and energy are for those who are homeless, unemployed, have many needs for the basics in life, orphans/strays/feral, terminally ill, mentally ill, sick, poor, animals & pets, and lastly for those folks living in Japan.
