This morning I spent the first 10 minutes of my
awake time with mah Niece in FB chat.

She is home, right across the street and it is surreal.

She has gained 4 pounds and is almost weighing in to a full 90 pounds now.

The obvious physical toll this has taken on her is being treated with
physical therapy a few blocks away from here. I must be more aware
of my own immune system now,cuz I cannot see her if I haz Cooties.

Mrs. Daywalker and my Sister were in the kitchen;
Mrs Day says to her "I have a new found respect for you, and the
strength it took to go through all of this and never ever leaving her side..."

My Sister replied "I was there, but all of the hard work was Miss V's
doing...it was her strength that kept ME going"

I just wanted to share this stuff, cuz all the lighting of Candles and
thoughts of goodness that everyone has put forth ~ I am ever grateful for.

I am lighting a Candle this morning for all who need to see the light.

Today my devotional candles are burning as well as my incense. I am lifting up in prayer all who are here, plus a few who are no longer with us. I also am praying for those in Japan, and the Middle East. War is immoral. I pray for an ending to that. Too many have died over greed. I also am praying for the sick, poor, and needy.

may the workers who rotate in and out of the Furushima Daiichi nuclear facilty be blessed in their sacrifice. may all in Japan find comfort in their suffering.
may all those in danger in Libya find safety and be aloowed to live as they wish. (democracy is not for everyone. this is not to say that i think Quaddafy a good answer for ruler.)
may all those in danger from riots in Egypt, Bahrain, and Yemen find safety and an end to violence.
may all in the US in suffering from natural disasters find aid and a quick rebuilding of their homes.
may the wars in Iraq and Afghannistan come to a quick end, and the suffering the US causes inadvertently be ended and the good we do last!
may the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians find resolution and peace for both.
