Light a candle

This morning I spent the first 10 minutes of my
awake time with mah Niece in FB chat.

She is home, right across the street and it is surreal.

She has gained 4 pounds and is almost weighing in to a full 90 pounds now.

The obvious physical toll this has taken on her is being treated with
physical therapy a few blocks away from here. I must be more aware
of my own immune system now,cuz I cannot see her if I haz Cooties.

Mrs. Daywalker and my Sister were in the kitchen;
Mrs Day says to her "I have a new found respect for you, and the
strength it took to go through all of this and never ever leaving her side..."

My Sister replied "I was there, but all of the hard work was Miss V's
doing...it was her strength that kept ME going"

I just wanted to share this stuff, cuz all the lighting of Candles and
thoughts of goodness that everyone has put forth ~ I am ever grateful for.

I am lighting a Candle this morning for all who need to see the light.

Leaving love and light to all who need it here, including pets & animals. My thoughts and prayers are for those who live in Japan, and those in asst. living, and other such places, and those who are involved with hospice at home or parent's home. I wish you peace and God-speed.

You know, I haven't asked others to pray with me for R lately
Last night she sent me a text that Starbuck discovered a phlebitis in her left arm
R thought it was just a bruise from all the blood that was drawn last time she was hospitalized
They were going to try hot compresses
Anyhow, I was worried there could be a blood clot
I know the only way to be 100% sure is with ultrasound
So, she then sent another text and said they were on their way to the ER
I was quite thankful they went
Anyhow, last text I got was at 2:20am and they gave her 800mg Motrin, a sling and heat packs because that's the way the VA Hospital rolls

So, can all of you say a prayer and keep her in good thoughts
