Will put dinner in oven in a about an hour and a half

Not bad for a Sunday...

up at about nine
off to Lowe's for pool floaties, plants, pool chemicals, odds & ends
home...made breakfast for the Rooster and I (the Prince and Scoote were still asleep)
adjusted pool chemicals and scrubbed the walls of the pool with my new brush and pole
about an hour in the yard...weeding, edging, potting new plants
a little dip in the pool (a bit chilly but made the kiddo happy)
pork chops thawing for dinner

...and it's only 4 p.m.

We had a blast at the OilyPup's place last night and we crawled into bed around 2am (that counts as today!).

Awake at 9am. Texted boss about an issue at work. Laid back down but didn't sleep for another half an hour or so. Finally drug myself up and grabbed some grub. Since then, Ebon and I have watched Open Season II, I've forced him to hammer in a few nails on a small bookcase and also helped me move said bookcase around until I was fairly happy with its location. I have moved some light furniture around, dusted most of the living room, cleaned up our 'game area', gathered up the recycling, I'm on the third load of laundry now, I've spot vacuumed, and now I'm taking a break.

Later, I shall go through about 10 tubs/boxes of clothes and miscellaneous to either find homes for the stuff or put it in the donate bag I started today.

Since my shoulders ache from yesterday's work, I'm not sure if there's going to be anything more than that done today, although there is plenty more that needs to be done around here.

Sunday, part deux...

another 2 hours in the yard...it looks much better
hulled, sliced and lightly sugared a couple quarts of fresh strawberries...in the fridge for everyone to munch on
made part of dinner (Scoote did the rest)
baked banana cake
swept floors
cleaned the boys' bathroom
....can't remember what else....just feeling tired and semi-yucky now...but can't sleep

We got up and went to look at dresses, thought we'd just look around, low and behold, we found a dress! And on sale! Said dress is on layaway, once paid off it will be ordered in. We've managed to get the big things taken care of, now it's (mostly) small stuff
