Thanks to all of you for the warm wishes..... Who would have thought that age 59 would be such a milestone... I mean others wait for 40, 50, perhaps 60 to have their own little mental breakdowns... But leave it to this ole cowpoke butch to wake up on the 59th celebration and NOT want to get out of the bed.... The malaise has followed me since the end of March - until a couple of dear, dear friends finally got me to see that I was isolating..... So, did I miss birthday cake and ice cream....ahhhhhh rats!! Better luck next year when I won't be so pissed off - I'll be 60 then and I hear it's the new 40.....*Blush*  |

I love you Jo...I dont care if you are 59, 60, 98 or 200. You are Jo. One of the finest butches I have ever known. But I also do understand the impact of aging. Hell, I dyed my hair purple. Someone at the Cleveland Clinic commented she liked my hair color and I quipped back that at my age I didnt care anymore to be the standard model. In other words, Fuck the purple dress. Maybe my merkin is purple too...hahaha....
did I make you laugh? Good...cuz it aint over yet, good buddy and we got to get all the laughs in we can before its over. I plan on going to the reunion too...lets dance...I will feel your butt and you can feel mine and we will act our age..which will be 59 and 54. Any younger and I wouldnt have the guts to do that. So enjoy the brazziness of our age... oh..and bring your spurs. I might let you wear them...lol...
