You know when someone says something along the lines of "roar like a lion" and then you hear a kitten mew a little bit? That smiley reminds me of that. Irish, it's not unusual to be sore or tender or both for a couple of days, but since it's spread out over weeks of time, I'd go to a chiropractor if you can.

Like apretty said, it could have aggravated an old injury or brought to light an issue (like you subconsciously creating an imbalance by carrying heavy weight consistently on one shoulder...purse, book bag, kids, wrought iron...you get the picture) that was previously unidentified.

As someone who completely reversed the curvature of her neck (not fun, I assure you), please don't mess with your spinal heath.
