DMV fees in Mississippi are the highest I've paid. Much more than I paid in California; More than in New York. Texas DMV fees are low and that is only one reason it is great here! Reason two, no state income tax; reason three, a reasonable cost of living; reason four, continued growth, specifically in Austin, which is again in the top twenty "cities to live in" in the U.S. this year; reason five, a great community here.
