Pup...I honestly don't think it's about excluding trans people or being a "female-identified lesbian" ONLY party. It's a party geared toward having women of all ages (though aimed at those above 30), races, classes, sexual orientation come together and have a blast.

Sorry this is causing such a issue, though I don't understand why.

Honey, the only thing is that the policy says to self-id at the door. That's denying an FtM the right to be the man they are.

And, how are they going to prove it? Drop their pants?

But yeah, I think women-only space and man-only space is awesome. I just think the way they say it is kinda icky.

BUT! We can have it all!

We can party for BBQ at Glyneice's. Then those that want to go party to some awesome music with some fabulous women can.

And those that don't can stay and play games.

SO there! We can have it all in Austin.

I'm focusing on not freaking out or going stir crazy. But I'm very excited! And I'm definitely brining my yoga mat...

Thank you so much for opening up your home, Glyniece! It was a great time. The perfect way to spend an afternoon with the Austin BF family. Even if durrr did try to get water in my wine! And Candypants tried to drown me. And y'all wore poor D out so much he had to have a disco nap!

As usual, we had a great time with everyone yesterday! Wind-wise, we picked the best day. Could have had a bit more direct sunshine yesterday, but it was all good! We love having everyone over and look forward to more gatherings this summer!! Good friends that make for great company! Ya'll come back now, ya hear!

thank you again Glyniece for another great time and wknd.

it was fun losing ( again ) on frisbee golf, swimming, hangin out and great food. ( compliments to the chef on the hamburgers and hot dogs..lol )

can't wait to make it back there and hang out with the Austin group

Wim says hi to everyone and wanted me to also tell ya her laptop isn't workin right now cuz she would of logged on herself and said howdy to y'all

Plans for the Potty Party May 7th...I know I put 5pm on the invite but 3 or 4 will be fine. We will have horseshoes, washers,dominoes, Wii sports & Jepordy. And that failing we sit and look at each other.

Next weekend, only on the South Side. I have heard promising talk of barbecue or something, and a bathroom to show off?

Damned scheduling - wish I would have realized weeks ago that our Trans-Siberian concert is the same time as the potty party.

Oh, and yeah, we have a great group, don't we? Special thanks to Durrrrrrrrrr for all the hard work (and Oiler as always). I love seeing D, and everyone else too. And, how perfect that the weather waited until today to drop down below freezing. We'll do it again soon.
