Had my 3 year anniversary in TX today I am so grateful I came here I have learned so much, grown as a person, found love and goodness in my life and discovered my vocation of teaching.

for yesterday...
i was able to spend a long in a library-my first time in OK! a child asked if i would play puzzles with her *smile*. (i did.) other patrons and i chatted about what we were reading. despite the 2-book rule when you first get your card, the librarian let me check out about 12 books. i inhaled the blessed scent of bookdust. quietness and peace reigned like they should in a well-run library, with underlying soft murmurs of patrons and pages being turned and keys being tapped. ah, the library, haven of peace and booklover's comfort!
