dr sassypants got here fine last night. looking forward to having her here for a few days. make sure y'all come by on saturday to at least say hi. and maybe play some horsehoes or washers and eat up on some of ash's brisket.

I'll be by after work which means close to 9 or 9:30. Please save me some food.

Also, cross your fingers. I just applied for a job that would be REGULAR HOURS and, I think, M-F only. Thud. It's with the same company but better hours and seriously better pay. I hope I at least get an interview.

Well I made it to Dallas in time for lunch and a margarita. Then dinner and pomegranate martinis. We had a great time celebrating C's 50th. I also got to see a friend of Cai's who flew in from Minnesota. I really enjoyed her company as well.

While at BdB's there was a table by us with two lovely BF couples. I didn't wander over but it did make me smile.

little man, we will find a more calm place for our next adventure and we will get Puplove out for her maiden voyage in her new kayak! I will check with some of the guys at work who are avid kayakers and find out where to go that isn't quite so overwhelmed with power boats.
