Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday and didn't get a heat stroke from this crazy ass heat here in Florida...I had to wait until 8:30 lastnight to go power walking.

I am thinking of eggs, grits, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Good morning everyone, and thanks for taking care of breakfast Zimmy!

Scoote's back is the same...painful...at least she has an appointment with the ortho/spine specialist next week....and then "we'll see" about the neurosurgeon. They are taking for freaking ever to get this seen to, and it's truly pissing me off. She's been injured and off work about a month and a half now and they've managed an MRI and pain meds....and that's about it. Freaking ridiculous.

Ugh....can you tell I'm having a less than stellar morning? Sorry!

The inspector doing the wind mitigation (i.e. will our roof blow off in a hurricane) for the insurance company is here, and up in the attic. Better him than me....I get skeeved out up there really quick.

I'm off to have some coffee, and see if I can pull myself out of my funk so that I can at least be productive for work....my desk is about 2 feet tall in paper at the moment.

I found a good song that you and Scoote can start singing to the WC people http://youtu.be/T2onHaKs5zs. Listen to the part that starts at 2:43. It's the truth. What most people who are government employees don't realize, is how their jobs could be taking away the next day.

I am so happy to get a job, I no longer have to fight with the unemployment office. Every two weeks, there was a new reason as to why I had been put on suspension and I had to call and beg them to allow me to submit my claim. I never thought that when I first started working over fifteen years ago, that I would have to fight for my tax money. I don't know and I am over the politics here in Florida. Glad to hear Scoote has her appointment next week and hopefully they can schedule the neurosurgeon appointment quickly..

*peekin'" in, I read you got a job Zimmy and I wanted to say congrats!! Read this page alone and wow Jo I hope Scoote gets some relief soon, the meds suck and hide the issues. I'd say smoke some green is she can to help with nerve pain. Anyways hi

good afternoon kitcheneers...long time no type....been busy driving Jo crazy bc WC is dragging their asses on getting me to a dr and a solution to my problem..finally tho i have an appt with an orth spinal specialist(even tho my dr insists i need a neurosurgeon NOT an ortho). Im not sure how mucch good it will do,but we shall see.

Hello Ms Snow....i have been contemplating the green stuff--even mentioned it to JO--but im not sure she believed it was for medicinal purposes only

Zimmy i hear ya on fighting for ur money..i anm now having to fight to get my WC..they are suddenly dragging their asses on that as well...which wouldnt normally be an issue,but with the Bahama trip coming up and Roosters trip to Lead America and then to NY and other stuff,plus the fact im losing about 750-1000 a month has made things tight--for me--Jo says we will be ok,but im not happy having someone pick up my slack like that

but anyway hope everyone is enjoying their humpday!
