~ I'm grateful for this day!

~I'm grateful for the rain we are getting. (There will be thunder and lightning later on, they say.... )

~I'm grateful to be able to spend some time with The Berry, my BFF.

~I'm grateful for thoughtful people who say things that make me smile.

~I'm grateful for Lucy, silly dog extraordinaire!

Today I am grateful for:

An evening of laughter, wine and Kung Fu Panda
The fact that I woke up in time to get ready for an appointment this morning even though I set the alarm wrong
New possibilities in my life
All the positive people in my life. The lack of negativity is stunning!
1 and 2 who tried very hard to get me to stay in bed today.

I am grateful for warm weather in Washington DC while I visit the Woof. Now if I could get some sleep I would be perfect!

I'm grateful for dry skies tonight, teasing, angel food cake, and wonderful friends. Oh, and the Spinach Carbonara Salad I got from the deli next door isn't too shabby either!

I am grateful for a job that I enjoy with people I like, but right now I am especially grateful that I am done with work for the weekend!

I am grateful for the hot shower that just washed away the stress of the work week.

I am grateful for the quiet rain that is falling now and looking forward to it continuing to fall for most of the weekend.

I am grateful to be home and in my comfiest pj’s.

I am grateful that I don’t have to leave my house for the next two days if I don’t feel like it.

I am so grateful for the many blessings in my life and my continued sobriety that allows me to appreciate them.
