Hi Peeps! Wow! Look at y'all posting. We're alive! We're alive!

Welcome Mickman. This pride thing sounds good to me - October is a great time for it. I'm in Long Beach Cali right now for the Long Beach pride which is this week-end. My BFF's girlfriend is on the planning committee. She has been coming home exhausted every day with details of that is coming.

Kat, I laughed at your "plans must be made" line. I am more of the spontaneous, last minute kind of person, but to go to pride I will be willing to make some plans. Yah! SOUNDS GREAT!

That's me Keri ... the comedian ..lol. I said plans must be made cause of hotels and stuff and we need to make reservations.... Scoote is right lets make it a weekend thing ... I have a roomate so I have only 1 bed in my room .. ya 'll can squeeze in ..lol..NOT .....

I have subscribed to a couple of the Fla. Forums...but when I come back to this site, I can't ever find how to get to them...lol....
Have an awesome day everyone...and have a swell time at that Gulf Coast pride. I lived in St. Pete, and hung out in Gulfport many years ago...was a neat little town!!!!

I just tried the link and it worked for me. The existing link has good info on it. I assume more is coming when they finish construction. Sounds like fun. Hope some of us will be able to get together there. I don't live there, but had a few of us spent an evening with Kat in Dunedin awhile ago, and I fell in love with the town. Not too many places in Florida have gay rights, but Dunedin is one of them. I'm glad they are having pride there to support the town that supports us!!!

Good Evening everyone. I did not check out the link yet--half lazy half bc i saw it wasnt finished yet--so perhaps once its all up and posted we could start from there...find some hotels...maybe get an idea how many are really interested in going..maybe call around and see if theres a hotel willing to cut a deal for a block of rooms---not that Kats invite wasnting "inviting" but i need my damn space..

i think i speak for Jo as well in saying we would like to make a weekend of it(leisurely one) a lil planning a lil fly by our seats..not for sure about others with kids...not sure if we would bring ours....all things that should be considered since i know Ms Snow and Grant will have Worm by then..and altho its a few months away but my experience with queer folk is its never too early to start planning
