I sound like a Hippie/This post makes me feel old
1. Although I love cute shoes and high heels, I prefer to be barefoot as often as possible. (I currently have poison ivy toes, from over-indulgence. Sometimes shoes are just practical.)
* Red toenails, always. 2. I have a 19yr-old son. He is a talented musician, deep thinker, and sensitive soul. I love him fiercely. 3. Beets make me gag. Seriously. Even the smell. Beet greens too. (I feel a little nauseous just thinking about it.) 4. I am a damn good cook! 5. 20 years ago I lived and traveled in a periwinkle school bus. Adventure abounded (see #2).

~*~ When I was in my 20s and people would ask "so where are you from" I would lie and tell them "London." I explained away my Alabama accent by telling them that my family moved us "back home" when I was 8.
~*~ I can tie a cherry stem in knot with my tongue-twice, sometimes three times. ~*~ I was once on the cover of a magazine. ~*~ In the year 2000, I was the "Volunteer of the Year" for the Alabama chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. ~*~ I am terrified of scary movies and cannot watch them/sleep alone after seeing a new one. BUT any old fave like "13 Ghosts" or "Nightmare on Elm Street" will lull me to sleep in minutes if I let it.

I love red velvet cake ice cream produced by Ben and Jerry.
I am most at peace when I am cutting up paper, whether it be books or magazines or whatever. In my relationships of any type, honor is paramount. I work counseling children in a windowless office, and thus farts are particularly devastating. I had to bow out of being a bridesmaid recently because the required dress didn't fit me (form-fitting tight red, long dress!). I was quickly replaced by someone with the perfect body for it, and it kinda hurt. |
