We would love to get together with everyone,but we need to go someplace that is a little cheaper..
WT and I are a little strapped with trying to pay off some bills.
What are you all suggesting ?

The weekend of the 18th works for us .
Also I think the roller derby is scheduled for the 18th of June. too

On the 25th is the Pride Parade Saturday night... we havn't been in years.
anyone want to meet up? we can bring our own chairs and coolers and food.
I wish we could be marching down this parade, for butch -femme planet !.LOL

I love both of these ideas...but i sense an abundance of lurking logistics...what to do?

18th works for me, if y'all want to come here for a bbq, that is good with me.

the 25th works for me also, I have never been to Houston Pride, so that would be awesome to go to.

I'm new here and wanted to stop by and say HI! to my hometown!

I'll be down from Dallas to celebrate Pride with some of my oldest and closest friends! Consider yourselves WARNED!

(BTW...I'd suggest Baba Yega's instead of House of Pies. But when dining at House of Pies, I always recommend the Turtle Cheesecake! It's simply DIVINE!)

There are TONS of activites and events the week leading up to the Parade Grand Finale, beginning with Opening Ceremonies June 18th! I've included the link to all the festivities below. Enjoy!

House of pies is good but I just found out I have to work 9-6 on 6/18 and you know mister jenny turns into a pumpkin at 8 on Saturday

LOL House of guys yeah I've heard it called that! I think they call it that cause lots for gay guys go there to eat after hours.
Don't blame you for not going to the parade it is crowded and hot . But after the sun goes down its tolerable , we dont plan to get too close to all the crowds just a good place to sit and watch . Hopefully it will be cloudy.

If yall want we can hook up at House of guys around 5:30-6 on Saturday 25th before pride festival.
