Good Morning Everyone,

I woke up this morning and went for a short power walk. I took my time, since my ankle is bothering me again, thanks to the heels I was wearing. It was slow again lastnight, so I spent about two hours reading different online articles on Theodore Roosevelt. I am going to bring a book with me tonight and a huge bag of French Roast coffee with me!

CF, have fun at the pool! I am going to be taking my oldest niece and nephew to the pool on Friday, while my stepdad fixes my car. Matt and I are going to be looking at apartments this weekend in hopes of finding one that won't cost us $490 each for rent.

HD, hope you had a good night at work. I was texting on the sly lastnight.

Cody, HD is right, you are doing wonderful things for your baby. Pets truly are like family and I spoil Athena...

Clay, hope you had a good day yesterday!

Lillith, Welcome and I am sorry it has taking me so long to tell you that.

Zimmy, I'm sorry about your ankle but glad it hasn't stopped you from your power walks. I hope you and your nephew have fun at the pool on Friday. I think I'll be going everyday that I can. Good luck on your apartment hunt, i know it can be frustrating but I know you'll find the perfect place to live.

Good morning everyone.. hope all had a great long weekend... lol but i am thankfull for those that worked!! i had to get stuff from home depot and the auto parts store... sheeeez couldnt imagine if everyone didnt work!
my spoiled rotten lil dog and i are starting the front suspension rebuild on the project truck today!! yea!!

lol he just had his hair cut and bath yesterday! i know by the end of the day my lil white buddy will be filthy and spotted from double checking my work.

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had an awesome Memorial Day weekend, did something fun or just hung out with friends.

I had a good weekend filled with Nascar, went to the Nationwide race on Saturday and the 600 on Sunday evening. It was awesome. I went with Miss Scarlett so she could get her redneck on, lol. The previous weekend we went to the Truck race and the All-Star race, Blade went with us to those, we all had a blast.

Gooooooooooood morning once again peoples. I don't even remember what day it is because yesterday was a killer sucky day. I survived however, and hopefully today will be a better one. Only one class later this afternoon (with the stupid wanttopunchherintheheadlady). Then I discovered we just had a family of 6 enter shelter at work this morning. It's gonna be a looooooooooooooong night. Hope everyone has a beautiful day. Go out there and enjoy it!

Hey Zimster:
So sorry about your ankle...that sux when one is trying to do some power walking, or even regular walking, for that matter. Have you tried some sort of ankle strapping or splint to walk with...to stabilize it and give some support to it? The ankle braces, wraps are in most pharmacy sections of drug stores, Wallys, etc. Just suggestin', ya know.... I am still waiting on my texts from a few days ago...<smile>...go on and blow me off huh? lol...You have to work this weekend? Isn't it "FamilyDays" there???? Wish I could don my red teeshirt andgo but am not able to walk the park...sigghhh...have my own electric scooter but no way to haul....sigghhhhh...need me some buddies....<smile> to help me....enjoy the day and take care of that ankle....don't want to damage any further and suffer in later years....<smile>...later hon....Clay

Good morning Ms. Cuddly...I am doing good. Thanks for asking! I hope you get the "sun fix" today...lol. Seabreeze antiseptic for acne is great to put on after too much sun...cools it down and takes sting right out. You want to be careful using anything with oils as it will "seal" over sunburn as it clogs pores and holds the heat in..the seabreeze will cool and open pores to let heat exude....just sayin'....<smile>. It is going to be 90 here today...and a scorcher...woot! woot!
Hey Zimmy & CF....there is an all women's handcrafted art show this Saturday at St. John's Beach Pier Pavilion on St. Aug. Beach off A1A form 10am to 5pm...is awesome with about 100 to 200 women vendors, come out and support our "family". I want to go but not alone...anyone want to go???? This is its 13th year!!! Let me know...Clay

Heya Clay,

No I'm not blowing you off. I'm not allowed to use my cell phone at work. I've tried the ankle braces and found they hurt to much. I'm just going to wait until my health insurance kicks in and then go to the podiatrist. I don't celebrate Gay Days. They are more for the gay men than lesbians. I went to Disney one year and saw how a gay man was talking to a young boy, who had rainbow Mickey ears on. It took my friends dragging me away so I wouldn't tell that jerk what I thought of him. I like to celebrate Pride. It's more fun and everyone gets along.

I'm watching the show, "How The Earth was made" on NetFlix.

I need to start getting ready for work, woohoo.

I hear ya on the Gay Days thing. I took my deceased partner in 2008...it was her last wish...and it was more about guys then, too! I want to do Jax and St. Aug prides that are coming up sooon, too, I think! Yes a podiatrist is the answer. Most likely he/she will do a Unna Boot...is a medicated type soft cast....I had one on my foot...it helped tremendously....anyway just some "idears" of mine...lol and yes I did mean to add an R to ideas...lol...anyway have great day at work...later...Clay
