Hey, gang. I am thinking about applying to UA in Tuscaloosa, and was wondering if anyone can tell me what areas around there are ok to live in with a child. Thanks...Lillith

Tuscaloosa was hit by the April tornados. You might have a tough time finding anything in that area. Brookwood/Coaling/Cottondale/Vance are all quiet areas within a reasonable driving distance (15 mins?) of Tuscaloosa. My mom lives in Brookwood so if I can be of help, let me know?

I thought I would bump this thread and see if there are any Alabama/Florida/Mississippi, well hell the Gulf Coast area out there. Are you looking forward to the Alabama vs. LSU game? What about the Saints collapse? I know that's football but it is such a mainstay here. Happy Halloween to you.
