I am so happy to have chosen cards to send to all the folks on Jo's list...
I have little post-it's with each person's name... I did a bit of stalking on a few names to try and suss out some specific interests... Now I am going to address them and have a goal set to get them out tomorrow... no excuses since I already have the postcard stamps!! kinda fun to do cheers Nina I really Really hope I picked one for Scootey that gets a laugh...I tried ! |

since I seem to be happiest when behaving like a fucking 12 year old these days...I feel the need to announce that, yesterday, I decided upon, addressed, wrote a little note upon, and stamped all the post cards for folks on Jo's list...
I got a cramp in my hand...I really did! they are in the pile, ready to go this morning...I am going to take them TO the post office since I think they will be treated better there than languishing in a dark, cold, mail box on the street....what's it called when one assigns human traits to inanimate objects?...other than 'nuts'.... oh...and...from the whole sheet of post card stamps, there is only one left! |

Well, we are heading out for Pensacola FL tomorrow...YAY! I plan on picking up some along the way, too.... so some folks are gonna get a mixture of our roadtrip adventure, not just the destination

just FYI, the postcards i picked up yesterday are all the same. Hell that was hard enough to decide which ones to send. I stood there so long going back and forth trying to decide i think security came by a couple times,bc they thought i was trying to steal them...
 To say i tend to OVER worry about having just the right ones would not be an overstatement.

I am doing the same thing. But I am doing it b/c I will be picking up local postcards until I venture somewhere else. So, everyone will get a variety of Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

i'll be sending out my first batch of cards today. i still need to make a few more, so hope y'all are patient.
i tailored as many images to folks as i could. as time goes on, i'll likely get a better idea what sort of images people like...or you can feel free to drop me a line and let me know (that would be the quick and easy route for me). it's sure gonna be nice to get mail from all over the place.
