Mark your calendars wanna go here some free live music and of course theres food involved!!

Heres a few dates we were looking at to go hear folks play, would love it if we could get a group together. Neat thing is the Central market shows are 6-9 so folks can still get home at a descent hour if you have to work the next day.

Hey BVD-O (not to be confused with the guy who loves his BVDs), there are a couple day care places there too:
Taurus has a day care at McNeil and Hwy 183, which is just a couple miles from the Arboretum. I used to take my dogs there when I worked in that area.

My personal favorite place is Mud Puppies - they're a little further north (about 15 minutes from the Arboretum). I take my dogs there now. (oh and they're gay-owned)

Both are about $25 for a day of day care (I get multi-dog frequent visitor discount packs so I'm not sure of the street price), but you have to fill out the application before dropping them off (applications are on their sites). You can drop off as early as 7am and pick up as late as 6:45 (Mud Puppies) or 7:30 (Taurus).

Well I'll tell you, I wish he'd hang on to his stuff a little better. Having to go up there and actually see you is bad enough, but then I have to drive to the Falls to drop it off.

Tuesday Dinner with Blue_Vegan_Daddy-O

I parused the choices for dinner looking for a place that a redneck like Blue_Vegan_Daddy-O and a vegan like me would both find ample choices. Thank god we live in Austin because there are such places!!! And I found a place that will give us the "Austin experience"! I tried to find a centrally located establishment, but alas location gave way to parking and cuisine

Drum roll please....

Kerby Lane - Northwest

I figured 7ish that would allow folks time to get off work and negotiate traffic...ect but still be home at a resonable hour if need be.
