I have these smoked pork chops, that I will baste with lite maple syrup and roll onto crushed cashews. They'll need to be grilled on the top rack of the grill.......

Inside the kitchen, I'm making pancakes with blueberries, and on the side watermellon slices. I'm engrossed in my laptop reading the news, come say hi.

This sounds heavenly yummy! I'm up before the rest of the house, got coffee going....and now hear the Rooster moving around. He and I are the early risers...Scoote and the Prince sleep in and are more the nightowls (although Rooster was up late last night....I'm surprised he's up quite so early).

I finally convinced Scoote to go skinny-dipping in the pool with me last night....and she liked it! The cats, who sat on the side and stared at us, thought we were a little odd though.

I'm off to fill my cup....hope you're all having a wonderful weekend.
