*driving safely to and from school (in a tornado warning!)
*our home, the dogs, EZ *that we made the choice to go meatless and it feels fucking amazing. now the idea of eating meat is repulsive--i was down to just chicken and some beef because i think that pigs/pork are so closely related to dogs... anyways, it's wonderful having 'guiltless' meals and i feel better, too. *my busy school schedule--i can do it. |

I am so very grateful to The Universe for allowing me to finally find one of my dear friends and fellow Woman Marines from my years in the Marine Corps. This wonderful friend of mine yanked me back from the brink of becoming an alcoholic, so many years ago. She reached out to me when I was young, afraid, away from home for the first time, and confused about coming out as a lesbian. Finding her, after 30 years, is indeed a gift from the heavens.
