Finally seeing my brother after all this....and him being as excited as I was....dissolving the situation and time elapsed right there....even as we were surrounded with the hostile environment and overhang of what was to come....in that moment....we were merely loving siblings....bickering, bumping, goofing around....as if the rest of the world did not matter

I haven't been able to stop smiling since I found my baby girl, I smile just whenever, sitting on the bus looking out the window and the memory of what we've talked about makes me smile, waking up in the morning and knowing she is in my life, sitting watching tv and not being able to wait until I can sit on the couch beside her and watch tv shows with her, even the budgies next door squawking at ungodly hours makes me smile, because the first time she heard them she said "What the hell is that noise??!??" which made me smile and still makes me smile.
I've got to say, I am one hell of a lucky Daddy and baby boi         |

Every wed. morning on my run, I see the guys who collect the trash in my neighborhood. Used to just say good morning as I ran past. Then this one guy who is very funny started making comments like, " Hey, why don't you grab a few of those trash bags, and toss them in here, on your way past." So I of course have a smart ass response of some sort in return. Told him he couldn't afford me. Last time I saw him , I asked him something like , why don't you have a water stand set up for me, you know I'm going to run by. Well today he was waiting , when I ran by, he tossed me an ice cold water. It made me laugh out loud. I was on vacation last week , he said he's been waiting 2 weeks to do that. Caught me by surprise. Very funny, and very nice. He is one up on me now, I have to be creative to get him back.

Thinking about how much my 22 year old nephew, who is currently visiting, enjoyed the Criss Angel magic show I took him to last night at the Luxor. Now I want to take him to see a Cirque du Soleil show, because if he enjoyed Criss Angel, he's really, really, REALLY going to like Cirque and all of it's magical, weird little animated characters!!!
 He's such a wonderful young man!!! I couldn't be prouder of the way he's turned out!!! And, he still looks so much like my big sister.   .....I just wish he'd get a  , though he does take good care of his hair and he's very clean cut!!! .gif "Say What?") I guess I'm just an old fart.  ~Theo~  .....still a very happy and proud Uncle.

walking down the hallway just now and spotting a delivery guy who i haven't seen in ages. he has the BEST southern drawl.
he hasn't seen me without all my hair yet and so with the biggest smile on his face he says "girl, you look gorgeous!!" made me feel super good!
