if Bandwidth was a worry, why is there a Youtube thread and "find me a picture" thread.
I don't mind clicking under names too. I would rather someone click for my picture because they enjoyed what I said. Other than seeing my picture and then looking to see if I am smart. |

I think it also had to do with having bots searching and being able to have some since of privacy, or something.

I too am wondering why just butches.
Not going to make an assumption. When my wife and I had our memberships we had plenty of space to post anything we wanted within the TOS. One of these days when the government decides to get their collective heads out of their collective rears we might be able to do so again. Til then we are limited on how many pics we post. Works for us.

Ah, found it. Not so technical after all, but a reason nonetheless. "Using a thread as a gallery space circumvents the intent of the gallery and also lessens the value of the gallery space." Whether or not this is still the case, I don't know. Just throwing it out there.
