listening to "Chowder", a silly little cartoon, and one of the characters said "You're right inner-male (angel/devil on the shoulder), I'm gonna win my man back" and went off with dialated pupils and did some crazy thing or another.

My child is now thirteen and everyday I realize how beautiful she's become and how interesting.

I took her to dance tonight (modern) and afterwards she and her teacher invited me in so she could perform a solo for me. I hadn't realized she had gotten so good. I was a modern dancer and I never wanted to jinx my passion around it by telling her she really should do it, or that I hoped she would love it. She just decided on her own one day that she would.

And then tonight, I watched her dance, because she was proud of herself and wanted me to see. And she was so incredibly beautiful and I was just so fucking proud.

I sat by the mirror and cried and she bent over me and hugged me like she was the mama and we both smiled.

Chester the Frenchie is finally learning (most of the time) how to be a member of our pack of dogs. He is younger and high energy. But tonight he settled right down and snuggled in with the other dogs on their bed. Max the Chi even used his butt for a pillow. And we all listened to the hard rain and strong gusts of wind outside, then they all snoozed together while I watched repeats of Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

Myron's new, BIGGER, BETTER waterfall!!! It works, doesn't leak, and Myron's absolutely IN LOVE with it!!!

....and finally getting the light timer installed and running, so I don't have to worry about not turning his tank lights on and off manually on time.

This means I can sleep late from now on (on my days off)!!!
