Good morning everyone
  The coffee pot is on and oh how I need it this morning! The cats woke me up about 4....didn't fall back asleep until after 5...awake again at 6....then just after 7. By then I was ready to kill them (figuratively speaking of course) and just got up.  Best of luck on the job Zimmy...a promotion would be great! I really liked the Harry Potter movie. The ending is a little ho-hum, but true to the book so I couldn't really complain. I remember reading that last chapter and saying "you're really going to end like that???" Scoote is doing too much, as usual, and doesn't listen when I tell her to cut it out. The back yard is coming along...very slowly. I got the Prince to help me for about half an hour on Saturday. We're using 16 foot lengths of edging...so we're accomplishing about 48 square feet of landscaping at a time.  Snail's pace, but an improvement just the same...Ugh...back to work for me...the Monday email flood awaits... Have a great day everyone!

I am sending you my Lavender body lotion! When I feel stressed out at work, I apply a good amount to my hands and smell it. My department director gave me the go ahead to apply for the reservation and supervisor positions tomorrow..Woohoo!!!! Are you all thinking of going to the Bash in October? Heya DC,
I haven't heard anything about Lavender, but I know that, Avon's Skin So Soft keeps them away. I buy my lavender stuff at L'Occitane en Provence. It is AOC Organic French Lavender and it doesn't make me break out. I am thinking about going and I will see where my finances are at that time. Thank you and I am looking forward to hopefully getting the transfer...The new job pays a $1 more an hour and after my 90 days, I will get a 25Cent raise. So that will take me over the $9.50 mark. Woohoo!!! Hopefully I can make it to the Bash and we will have to meet up! Zimmy Quote:

As 75% of the country is under soaring temperatures, I made cold coffee smoothies.....All you need to do is get the ice cube coffee from the freezer
use 4....and in the Jug (un case it stains) in fridge, is the breakfast smoothie mix..... Enjoy! Will be fullfilling as a breakfast, and tasty as all get go, and no need for hot coffee. There is fresh espresso in the smoothie mix.....  Have a great day, I'll be at the ball park.

Good Morning everyone and welcome to the Newbies in the kitchen!! Its hotter than hell here in Northern NJ!! I haven't been to the kitchen in a while and glad to come in here and see everyone!! I hope all have been doing well so far. We lost our dog this past weekend, he was ill with various medical problems. He had Cushing's, hypothyroidism, then in the end congestive heart failure and plueral effusion!! Anyway he is in a better place now!
