...that I have 2 legs and 2 arms. They may not function as well as they used to but I do have them.

I will be late for work but had to post this. I just saw on the news they are closing Walter Reed In DC.

It was full of young military with severe injuries from Iraq & Afganistan. One young guy looked about 24 and had both arms blow off from an IED and bilateral BKA (below knee amputations).

What did he regret the most? That he had to leave the rest of his unit in Afganistan without him.

I am going to try harder to be greatful for what I have and less concerned with petty bullshit.

My wonderful friends that strengthen me daily and show me a big, wide world that exists beyond my small imagination.

I could live with very few material things in this world but one thing i will never take for granted and i will forever keep high on my priorities is friendship.

It IS the cement block that holds my heart and soul together.

I am thankfull for my Desd for my daughter and for my family My father who loves and supports me no matter what My Step mom Jenn who is there to guide me my neices Carol and Jess who just kick ass and are both so excited to come to the wedding... Our furbabies who now that I am off my feet cuddle and guard me even if Jules is scared of my crutches
most of all that I found a true and forever love in my Desd so thankfull for all that she is and that she said yes and never listened to the well meaning folks who told her I was not worth it
thankfull for my Planet Family y'all just rock

and thankfull for mr and mrs Country casue they are pretty darn special

and last thanfull for Nick and Chris who shared with us thier wedding day
