Dear gaea
Ahaaa I see why you're so bothered about the weight gain. 100lbs lost!! Jeepers that sure puts my measly 25lbs into perspective.

What is a metabolic support?

I know you're an active person usually but due to being poorly has your activity level decreased significantly? That surely would be a contributing factor to the gain.

As you know I cycle lots of miles to ensure I can continue to eat foods I like rather than diet.

Do you think you could live with being a little heavier? I'm afraid that's the point I'm at....like it or lump it (as my Ma used to say).

yours diggingly

Dear Diggingly,

yes of course i remain active with the exception of the last month...due to the fact i haven't been feeling well.

A metabolic support is a vitamin that assists with increasing the metabolism via supporting the thyroid found at a vitamin shoppe.

Im hoping after my surgery i will feel well enough to start working out again..i think i will because i seem to be getting my energy back slowly.

I lost damn near an entire you lol....it is my battle i know.

Yours,
Diggen my : in

Good evening gaea and Incubus! I am happy to report that I had a particularly emotional day and this is the 1st time I didn't think about smoking after the memorial service I attended.

Keep digging in those heels gaea. I really hope things get better for you after the surgery!

Thank you for your support VintageFemme. Ten years! Almost 9 weeks for me!

StillettoDoll, that is something to be proud of doing!

Yanno, I told her when I quit, but since she really never saw me smoke often, I don't think she realizes I really did quit. I never smoke inside our home or in the car, she was very allergic to the smoke, so I always smoked outside.

It was one of the things that really bothered me about my kids' bio mom. When she would have visitation, she would smoke with my kid in the car....But I had the windows down, she would say....grrrrr.

It's hard for me to come back in here to keep up with what is going on with everyone because talking about smoking is one of the things that make me want to do it, so I avoid the topic at all cost.

As of today, I have had a half a drag (when I was extremely intoxicated, mind you), and that is it since March 28th. So, I still consider myself smoke free for 4 months.

I am doing a debate in my Comp class and I am pro smoking bans in public places. While doing the research for this debate I learned so much about smoke and smoking that I did not know....and especially about second hand smoke. I can honestly say that I will never smoke again!

Stay strong all of you that are quitting or quit. You are doing the best thing for not only YOUR health, but also for the health of others around you.
