What name do you go by? Elijah, Ancle Elijah, Rene (At work or family) or Nene (by My nieces and nephew)

How old are you? 44

Where were you born? Lansing, Mi.

What is your greatest fear? Losing My ability to reason/think

What is your earliest memory? Sitting in the living room at about 5, listening to/watching My parents tearfully talk about getting a divorce. Though I don't remember anything they said.

What is your most embarrassing moment? It has something to do with a part of My anatomy being exposed and I was clueless, when I discovered it, I was utterly humiliated. That was many moons ago and now I ensure nothing like that could ever happen and the rest I just laugh at.

What would your super power be? The ability to heal the sick (both mind and body).

What do you most dislike about your appearance? My weight...one day I would like to know what it's like to live in My body.

What would your fancy dress costume of choice be? A Pirate.

Who would play you in the film of your life? Clark Gable, of course.

What is your most unappealing habit? The fact that I like things done My way.

What is your favourite book? The Velveteen Rabbit.

What does love feel like? Coming home.

What's the worst job you've ever done? I was a cook at a Mexican eatery, I worked there for 2 weeks just long enough to submerge both My hands in Jalapeno juices and get sent home with hands swollen twice their size and then get stung by a bee on the back of My neck in the sweltering heat of the kitchen. That ended My career in food service.

What has been your biggest disappointment? I try not to look at things this way. Whatever I have done or not done, I always try and do it with honor, so no regrets.

When did you last cry and why? Suffice it to say that I have been known to cry on occasion. The rest is intensely personal.

What is the closest you've come to death? Standing on a platform in an old barn when I was it kid and it collapsed, luckily My coat snagged on a very large spike so I hung there until My coat ripped off.. and I fell to the ground. My cousin went to get My grandfather, but he had one speed and we called it "turtle".

How would you like to be remembered? Kind, Wise and Clever.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you? How little I really know.

What is your earliest memory? pouring milk from my bottle on my head and telling my mom I was shampooing my hair
What is your most embarrassing moment? Once I pulled my harley up into our driveway which was on a small incline, and as I was lifting my leg over the seat, the strap of my boot caught the high peg and I pulled the whole bike over on top of me in the driveway...while my neighbors watched.
What would your super power be? invisibility
What do you most dislike about your appearance? weight
What would your fancy dress costume of choice be? a leather tux with a leather bow tie
Who would play you in the film of your life? well...I would choose Meryl Streep, but I would get Roseanne Barr
What is your most unappealing habit? lately I've started chewing my nails. trying to stop.
What is your favourite book? non fiction: Portrait of a Seductress, the life of Natalie Barney Fiction: Gone With The Wind
What does love feel like? Love feels like the book you don't ever want to end, the way a particularly beautiful sunset fills the sky, the feeling you belong to someone and they to you.
What's the worst job you've ever done? Worked in a tomato canning factory peeling tomatoes. (my first job)

When did you last cry and why? I don't cry anymore. Its a weakness I can't indulge in.
What is the closest you've come to death? Five years ago I had 3 pulmonary embolisms in two months. The first one caused 8 clots in my left lung and 3 in my right. The doc told me one more day at home and I would have bit the dust.
How would you like to be remembered? as an honest person and a loyal friend
What is the most important lesson life has taught you? You have to take care of your own ass because nobody else is going to do it for you.
